Product Description

Plasma Surgical Generator GL2000 Benchtop Console

The Golead Plasma Surgical Generator GL2000 is a low-temperature bipolar plasma console in a 10 kg benchtop housing, intended for installation on a fixed equipment shelf or an optional equipment trolley in the operating theatre. Bipolar energy is delivered through saline at the tip of a disposable plasma wand, forming a thin plasma layer that ablates, cuts and coagulates soft tissue at roughly 40-70 C, well below conventional electrosurgical temperatures.

Key Features

  • Low-temperature plasma output — working tip stays in the 40-70 C range, reducing thermal spread to mucosa, cartilage and other delicate tissue.
  • Saline bipolar operation — plasma ignites in the irrigation medium, so no argon supply and no patient return pad are needed.
  • 1-9 ablation and 1-6 coagulation levels — rotary selection with fine steps for different tissue densities and procedure stages.
  • Single output channel — one wand connected at a time, with automatic wand recognition before activation.
  • Knob and button control panel — rotary encoder for level, membrane keys for mode, LED digital display for power and impedance. No touch screen, so the flat panel wipes clean between cases.
  • 4-position preset selector — recalls stored settings for tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, turbinate reduction and soft palate procedures.
  • Safety monitoring — wand recognition, impedance tracking, over-current and over-temperature cut-off with diagnostic codes.
  • 10 kg benchtop housing — compact footprint for a fixed shelf position; an equipment trolley is available as a separate accessory.
